Funds Management 

Foundation Management, is one of Australia’s leading venture capital investors, and has two key objectives:

• to invest long term equity capital in private companies with strong growth prospects and enterprising management

• to add value by actively partnering with entrepreneurs to build stronger, more profitable companies.

Foundation was awarded WA’s very first Innovation Investment Fund license by the Federal Government. As a result, $35 million was made available to invest specifically in early stage investments.

Foundation has administered as much as $75 million of funds under management, across three funds, and routinely invested between $1 million and $10 million in opportunities from early stage to pre-IPO, in small and medium sized businesses. While this will not be the core part of the business going forward, Foundation Management, will look for investment opportunities where it can partner with existing management, by providing strategic management and support through:-

Our due diligence and assessment process is rigorous and requires that the company has; a business plan, financials, projections and identified markets.

Restructuring 

In the event of a business or investment’s underperformance, Foundation Management can provide hands-on commercial advisory, results driven initiatives, executive coaching, and the knowledge to drive high impact, sustainable change.

In order to have a clearer understanding of the financial performance and prospects of a particular party, Foundation can provide assessments and key recommendations based on historical and financial forecasts, strength of key management, market assessment and the current status of funding options.
